Hello, everyone!

After some deliberation, I've reluctantly decided to put my lovely Taeyang Sebastian doll up for sale. Sebastian stands approximately 14 inches tall and is fully pose-able, including his eyes (which are operated via a lever in the back of his head, hidden beneath his hair.) He does not come with his original box, but is in otherwise fantastic condition - sale includes all his accessories (gloves, shoes, apron, silverware set, trading card, and stand, all pictured below.) Feel free to ask if you'd like to see more detailed photographs or if you have any other questions about his specifications. As far as I know, this Taeyang doll is no longer sold and is a fantastic collectible for all Kuroshi fans!

This doll is truly lovely, and it breaks my heart to have to sell him; I desperately need to raise funds for an upcoming move, however, and I hope one of you can give him a new home! My asking price is $100 not including shipping, but feel free to make me an offer if you consider that amount to be too high. Please ask for shipping rates before buying. International buyers welcome; please be aware that I only accept payments through PayPal. Larger images are included behind the cut.

I was all ready to buy groceries today, having carefully outlined and balanced my budget ... when I remembered that I still have to buy two textbooks this week for the second half of my Latin course. *headdesk*

Following 03mm's suggestion, I went ahead and created a Fiverr account and have listed my first gig: an original 5,000 word story for $5. You can check it out here, if you're interested (or know of someone else who might be.)

It's a long shot, but hey; why not?

Also, in honor of the new Harry Potter movie (and the final installment of the series, woe!) I've also included a Harry Potter fan fiction gig. $5 for 5,000 words of Harry Potter fan fic goodness. You can check that out here.

If anyone needs examples of my writing, everything's up and ready over at my AO3 Page.

I just figured out that you can stream Xena: Warrior Princess instantly on Netflix. :D (I think I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the night ...)

Man, does that show bring back memories. Xena was my hero when I was a little girl; I wanted to be her so badly. She was beautiful, strong, independent ... hell, I still want to be her. XD My very first ever fanfiction was about Xena (I was in fifth grade, I think. Yeah, I was a cool kid.) I made my sister and brother play 'Xena' with me outside in our backyard, especially in the summer, when I could use a pool diving ring to be my chakram and a Styrofoam noodle to be my trusty Argo. I had her war-cry yelp down perfectly. Erika, my cute blonde sister, made a perfect Gabrielle, and Dan never protested too hard about being cast as Hercules. ;) We used to plot expeditions against the (imaginary) forces of Callisto, because I was a little in love with her (despite the fact that she was bad and bat-shit crazy.) And when Dan's friend Josh came over, we made him be Joxer. Joxer the Mighty roams through the countryside, he never needs a place to hide ~ with Gabby as his sidekick, fighting with her little stick, writing wrongs and singing songs, being brave all day long, he's Joxer! Joxer the Mighty!

*grins* Oh, memories.

I just wanted to thank everyone who has joined up over at scrawlology; we have six members now, which strikes me as the absolute perfect size for an active, friendly writing circle. ♥ (Not that we'd turn anyone away, obviously; if you haven't joined yet and want to, come on over!)

For those of you (like me) who tend to just skim quickly over your friends list each morning, here's a 'heads up' that I've posted our official community guidelines, a prompt submission post, and the first actual weekly prompt. (As may be obvious by now, I am reeeeally excited about this.) Crack out those writing implements, ladies, and get scrawling! ♥

Assuming this is a success and everyone stays relatively active, I have all sorts of other ideas for things we might do: gift exchanges, mini-contests, internet write-ins ... you name it. :D But obviously, we'll see how things pan out first. Above and beyond all else, the idea is to keep the place low-key; productive, but not stressful.

... Also, I posted everything to the community at an obnoxiously early hour of the morning. And I don't do mornings. So if I forgot to include anything important, just poke me. XD

Yaay! ♥

This could probably do with another read-through, but frankly I'm sick of looking at it. XD Whatever mistakes remain are there for posterity now.

This is the second of my help_japan fics, as requested by queeofspades: she asked for an angsty h/c fic in which Sirius was an alcoholic and Snape helped him overcome his addiction, preferably with slash involved.

I failed utterly at the slash part, but hopefully this fulfills her other requirements. :X

This story also has the slightly dubious distinction of being the longest thing I ever wrote in one sitting. (Well, okay; the last couple of paragraphs were added this afternoon. But still.) It also might be the first story I've written using only one song as background music. Pretty much every scene in this piece owes its existence to Secret Garden's "Awakening," off of their Once in a Red Moon album -- which, coincidentally, is where the title comes from. Very lovely track, and very haunting.

HUGE thanks once again to megu for being an awesome beta and helping me salvage some sort of ending from this bit of nonsense. ♥ All remaining mistakes are, of course, entirely my own.

Also, the fake cut goes to my AO3 page; apparently, the fic's too long to post here.

Title: Once in a Red Moon
Genre: Harry Potter (book 'verse)
Word Count: 11,781
Rating: PG for angst and mildly suggestive content
Pairings: implied Remus/Sirius (past relationship); very mild Sirius/Snape; unrequited Snape/Lily
Disclaimer: Harry Potter and all related characters belong to JKR; original plot idea property of queeofspades. Title comes from a Secret Garden album (which is also the unofficial soundtrack to this story.)

Summary: After exchanging his cell in Azkaban for virtual imprisonment at Grimmauld Place, Sirius slowly begins to lose his mind to the silence and the loneliness and the ravages of his bitter, painful memories. It will take an unexpected ally to pull him back from the edge and remind him what he has left to live for.

(Storms had a way of stirring something inside of him.)

Alright, lovelies: listen in, and listen up!

It's come to my attention, either through conversations with you or your own LJ posts, that quite a few of us would like an opportunity to do more writing. There are plenty of challenge communities out there, but everyone's busy these days; who has time for a regular commitment?

After talking with megu this afternoon, I've decided to go ahead and create the writing community I've always wanted to. And so, I bring you ~ scrawlology!

scrawlology is a low-pressure writing community aimed at motivating busy people who like to write into sharing their work in a friendly, supportive environment. Here's how it works: members are encouraged to post a sample of their work once a week. Anything is acceptable, including works-in-progress, though if you need an extra dose of inspiration, we'll also be posting a prompt per week. Prompts can come in the form of quotes, songs, pictures, or anything else that inspires; any member can suggest a prompt at any time.

I'm very much open to ideas and suggestions, so please let me know what you think! The goal here is just to keep writing, and to receive constructive feedback on your work from a supportive community of fellow authors. Feel free to invite your friends; the more, the merrier!

No ... no ... I stand corrected.

This is EVERYTHING I LOVE ABOUT MIX SPEAKER'S,INC. *dies laughing*

Seriously, how fucking cool are these guys?! I especially love all the 'respectable' people in the background doing everything in their power to ignore them. XDD

And for the record? I HAVE BEEN TO EVERY SINGLE PLACE IN THIS VIDEO. Multiple times. I literally squealed out-loud and woke the cat when I saw them outside of C. C. Lemon Hall. ♥
